4x4 Training
André’s 4x4 Academy offers both basic and advanced 4x4 driver training courses. Professional instructors present these training events. Please note that all training is only offered at venues around Pretoria at this stage.

Basic 4x4 Driver Training
Group Sessions
Our most popular course takes place on Saturdays and is the ideal opportunity to get to know your 4x4 vehicle. Many of our clients use this opportunity for corporate team-building functions, dad-and-son excursions or even as birthday presents.
The cost of these training events is as follows:
*This driver must use the primary driver's vehicle to qualify for this tariff. Only one additional driver per vehicle is allowed.
NOTE: You need to make use of your own vehicle. No 4x2’s allowed.
Individual Session
Should you require a more direct approach, make an appointment for one-on-one training with our experienced instructor, and rest assured that you will be getting personal and unique input regarding your specific circumstances and personal requirements.

Advanced 4x4 Driver Training
After you have completed the beginner-level training and feel that you are ready for the next challenge, you should attend our advanced training course and learn how to push your 4x4 to its ultimate limits and optimize the man machine relationship with your vehicle.
This training is available on request and is also Pretoria based.
During this training the driver, passengers and vehicle will get very, very dirty. This program includes lots of physical and practical recovery actions.
Adequate recovery hooks must be fitted to the front and rear of the vehicle.
You must have your own recovery tools, which should include the following:
A kinetic band or rope, a towing rope, a pair of gloves, shackles that fit your vehicle's recovery points, a high-lift jack with base plate and adapter (if you own a jack lift), a shovel, accessories for a winch (snatch-block, tree-bark protector and remote - if you own a winch).
Proof of the completion of a basic 4x4 training course must be presented in the form of a certificate.
